Matthew McConaughey received the American Cinematheque Award last night in Hollywood and it was a strong turnout. The timing is great too. Not only because he’s winning everything (but the Emmy), but also because Interstellar comes out soon, one of most highly anticipated films of the year. Of over a year. Ever since Christopher Nolan decided he was making it.
Nolan was there to celebrate McConaughey. He joined him onstage. With beers. And his daughter too. We’re crowding around the table backstage at The Social right now trying to figure out what the label is. I’m not a beer expert. When I do drink beer I go euro. I thought at first that it was Miller Lite. If so, gross.
