Wouldn’t be surprised if she just buzzed it because she wanted to and not because of a part in a movie. She’s an odd one, Mena. Saw her last year at TIFF, kinda crazy but not in a serial killer crazy way, rather she walks to the beat of the noise in her own head. It’s hard to explain, I’d have to act it out for you. Like she’s spacey half the time and then all of a sudden she’ll start shouting out random thoughts and then she won’t shut up about it but repeats the same thing over and over again. In my case it was a video clip on the web. Out of nowhere after a rather sedate interview, she started losing her balls about that “shoes” clip on YouTube. She kept repeating: Oh my God it’s sooooo funny in a wacked out slow low voice without cracking a smile. Say it in slow motion: oohhhh mahhhhh gawwwwwd, it’s soooo fuuuhhhhhnnnyyy…
