In other words, as we all know already, she’s perfect.
And at 60 years old, Meryl Streep is on the cover of Vanity Fair closing out yet another triumphant year in which she delivered yet another sure-to-be-nominated performance in Julie & Julia with commercial and critical success and followed that up by playing the romantic female lead in a new comedy It’s Complicated due out this month.
Once again, she’s 60. In an industry that writes off women at 40.
Please.
Meryl’s issue of Vanity Fair will NOT sell as well as Robert Pattinson’s last month. Women will not buy as many copies. You tell me if there’s something wrong with that statement.
The interview reveals a bawdy, bold, and beautiful Meryl featured in a photo retrospective that will take your breath away. Click here to see them all and to read the excerpt. I like it when Meryl swears.
She swore last night on stage at the Gotham Awards while presenting Stanley Tucci. Watch the entire clip, you will love it. Especially when Stanley teases her for being drunk. Only she can say “f-ck” with such theatricality. Love her so much.
Thanks R!
