What? You’re not tired of all the remakes yet?

Next up: Robocop. Apparently the script is ready. They’re not thinking about casting. And the director, Jose Padilha, says he’d like to talk to Michael Fassbender. That, obviously, doesn’t mean sh-t in terms of actual confirmation but he’s at the top of the list for the dude who’s making the movie which obviously means consideration is on the table. (Source)

Should Fassy go mass market? Well, he’s already in Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated Prometheus and the first footage apparently played quite well at Comic-Con in July. Prometheus is due out next summer. I’m thinking that’s way cooler than Robocop for the dumb generation. Just me?

On and PS - my friend Laura was bothered last week when she accused me of prematurely declaring that she was over her Robert Pattinson problem in favour of Fassy. She would like me to assure you that she is not over her Robert Pattinson problem and, depending on how hot he f-cks Kristen Stewart in Breaking Dawn, may actually be as inflamed as ever. Fine.
