It seemed like it, didn’t it? Every time the camera found her she was laughing. She looked like she was having so much fun. And it was particularly evident because she was seated with Benedict Cumberbatch who seemed to take inspiration from Joaquin Phoenix.
No strong feelings either way for the dress. It’s a dress that could easily overwhelm another. She wore it well. She wore it almost...casually, effortlessly, in spite of its intended high drama. Imagine, for example, if JLO had chosen a dress like this. It would have ended up looking like something else. Something overly regal, something too extra.
