Not at the same time. Or, I dunno, maybe at the same time.

It has been a long, LONG time since Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were photographed together. Put it this way -- Liam’s been photographed with January Jones more recently than he has with his on/off maybe on again fiancée.

But check it out -- on Monday night Miley and Liam hit up a movie. The photos were only released last night to go viral this morning. Miley’s video for We Can’t Stop drops today. Coincidence or conspiracy?

Probably a little of both? This is a long, drawn-out breakup, as young breakups can be. Why not maximise those brief periods of peace? It’s what they do when they’re promoting their projects and themselves. They are everywhere and in your face.

In the new issue of Rolling Stone -- Johnny Depp on the cover -- Miley passed on talking about Liam, saying only that:

"I wear a ring every single day. I don't talk about my personal life, so that's enough of an answer."

Well, that’s enough of an answer, isn’t it?

She’s much more expository on the subject of drugs, specifically weed. And, on the subject of smoking dope, Miley defends it over drinking:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care. I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

I don’t... disagree. But is Miley really making a social statement here? Or... is her willingness to admit it more about image?
