Very true.
It is funny. At times very funny. And smart but not smug and honest and adorable and I want to read more. The part about guys wearing jeans with “embellishments on the pockets” KILLED ME. And please, if you are dating or are friends with a guy who wears jeans with embellishments on the pockets, consider yourself on notice. She’s right, and it’s brutal. But the “Oh My God” was great touch.

And then there’s Amy Poehler who spoke at Harvard College Class Day this week and, not surprisingly, was awesome. I’ve mentioned this before but one of my favourite things about Tina Fey’s Bossypants was how much credit she gives Amy Poehler, how much she adores Amy Poehler, almost worships Amy Poehler. If you’re just meeting Amy now, after watching this video, obviously you figure out pretty quickly why Tina’s right.
Parks & Rec is better than ever. SO f-cking good. Here’s Amy the other day at an Emmy screening for the show. Unfortunately I just don’t think the voters have moved past Modern Family yet. Also attached, Mindy at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner last month.
