If you’ve read The Other Boleyn Girl, this photo will probably excite you as much as it excited me. The first production image released from the movie starring Natalie and Scarlett Johansson and just this expression, especially the set of her mouth, in my opinion, captures Anne’s state of mind throughout most of the book – manipulative, nervous, insecure, competitive, maybe a bit too pretty from how I imagined but still a wonderful likeness…I can’t wait to see it, in spite of the fact that they’ve supposedly drastically changed the script, WITH Gregory’s approval. Wonder if they’ve made Anne less of a bitch – probably. Wonder if they made Henry VIII much more sympathetic – probably. Wonder if they axed the icky sister/sister triangle – probably.
