Is something wrong with me? You may need to yell me straight. Here’s why:

The new trailer for the Baywatch movie just came out. In case you haven’t heard, The Rock is The Hoff. And they know that Baywatch is cheesy. So they seem to be leaning into the corny level of the situation and making a movie that winks at you as much as it tries to entertain you.

 

Maybe I should stop defending it and just get to the point where I tell you what you need to fix: I laughed, a few times. I laughed at the line “Thank you, blue-eyed demon. Make sure swim-happy white people don’t drown”. And I very much enjoy the fact that Zac Efron appears to be f-cking useless in this movie. Like one of The Rock’s jobs is to make him feel like an idiot. That people come up behind him to knock him out he’s so stupid.

I’m having a really hard time finding something to bitch about here. Could you please let me know what to bitch about and I’ll get on that right away, no sarcasm? I have also sent a similar request to Sarah and she came back with:

“Zac Efron. Imagine Dave Franco or literally anyone else in that role.”
