Thank you, or maybe no thank you, to those of you who’ve sent me the latest video featuring Garrett Hedlund in Country Strong with a few more clips from the movie, including love scene snippets between him and Leighton Meester. Please. Please if they have to cut anything from the film, as much as I love her, I’d rather they cut Gwyneth’s parts and leave everything that has Garrett. Because ... I mean there’s not enough as it is.
You know what makes me crazy? I can never find new photos of him. He’s not a pap target. He doesn’t hit the carpet circuit. He missed the TRON carpet in London. And until next week, when TRON comes to North America, there’s still nothing current, except that he and Leighton were at a Country Strong presser in New York the other day, and I can only find one agency that has those pictures and there’s a goddamn embargo on them anyway.
Gwyneth wasn’t there. And that was the day the Brange lit up NYC. So, you know, if you’re on the assignment desk, you’re obviously distributing your staff accordingly, right? I get it. But that doesn’t mean I can’t be frustrated.
So to make myself –and you – feel better, I’m also attaching the video from a few weeks ago when he and Leighton make love to each other with their singing on stage. It’s too much. And you haven’t seen it yet, well, watch...and then you’ll know why he tops my Five List. I don’t know if it’s going to be safe for me to see this movie. It might be a bad idea.
