After Drake took down Meek Mill a couple of weeks ago, people wondered whether or not Nicki Minaj would break up with him out of embarrassment. Didn’t happen. The other night at her show in Pittsburgh, she called him her “baby father”.

Then, on Twitter, when someone congratulated her, this was the response.

So…are they having a baby?

Well, they’ve kind of done this before. Remember when she posted the ring on social media and everyone was like, oh they’re engaged? Click here for a refresher. Meek clarified a month later that they’re actually not engaged. Click here for a refresher on that.

And, well, making people focus on a baby is probably the best way to distract us from how Drake kinda crushed Meek, right? Nicki would know this. Nicki would understand how to play the redirect.
