The Hollywood Foreign Press Association loves Baz Luhrmann. So Australia likely won’t get ignored tomorrow when the Golden Globes are announced, especially since they have a sometimes confusing “musical or comedy” category. But Australia has been virtually shut out of all the critics’ association lists so far this week. It’ll take a miracle for Baz’s labour of love to get any attention from the Academy.

Still… money comes first. And there is a LOT of it to make up. As you know, Australia has not been setting the box office on fire. Far from actually, despite the efforts of Hugh Jackman and Granny Freeze Nicole Kidman to force you, or anyone, into caring.

They were at the premiere in London tonight. Granny with her plump third lip, wearing a beautiful slightly see-through white dress. Because every straight dude with a working penis dreams about Freeze’s nipples?
