Nicole Kidman was out in New York yesterday promoting Paddington. Paddington opened in the UK late last year to wonderful reviews. Right now it’s sitting at 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. My friend Lorella who lives in London saw it the other day and adored it. Finally Nicole is selling a strong film.
And it shows. Check her out yesterday at the screening. There’s something, non? You can tell she’s in a great mood from her expressions. Playful, even.
She certainly was with Jimmy Fallon last night on The Tonight Show when they told their own versions – like The Affair – of the time they went on a date…that he didn’t know was a date. She’s so cute here. She’s quirky. She’s so likeable. And she has chilled out on her lips. Look how chilled out her lips are. They’re the most chilled out they’ve been in a long, long time, especially remarkable considering we are in award season. Nicole is invited often to present. She could very well show up on the list of Golden Globes presenters this week since Paddington opens the following week.
