We shot a segment the other day at the 2007 Cannes Gifting Lounge at the Carlton. Among items offered to celebrities: luxury trips to Tahiti, the Caribbean, and Kenya and the opportunity to adopt an elephant. Forty elephants were adopted by the company sponsoring, baby elephants were then gifted to the likes of Pamela Anderson and Minnie Driver – in name only. Hope that makes sense, like sponsoring a child, you know?
Pam also took a pair of purple and pink Reeboks and some jewellery and a bikini and some skin care and some clothing and a new line of perfume made out of diamond dust….is crazy.
Anyway, we also received bags when we left. Not as stacked of course as the ones given to the stars but with juicy items all the same.
But here’s the thing:
I have no doubt, without your strong support of the site, I wouldn’t be here in Cannes at all. So why should I keep it? My swag bag will belong to one of you.
