Duana hadn’t seen this before she went to bed last night. Her first note to me this morning was: Love the hair, hate the dress. I guess the point of the dress was not to compete with the hair. But I agree. We could have used some personality there.
Still... these were the style balls we were hoping to see. The objective here was not pretty. And, well, she succeeded. That grey doesn’t flatter anyone. It’s meant to be jarring. It’s meant to counter convention. It’s meant to confuse the PEOPLE Magazine Witherspoons. Nicole Richie always did seem like the girl who’d follow through on a theme party too.
