Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder went for a run yesterday with their dogs. They apparently both like shepherds. Me too. German Shepherds have the most gorgeous gait. It’s like a loping dance. I appreciate that Nikki interrupted her rhythm to pick up some sh-t. Makes me crazy when runners just leave it because they don’t want to lose time. It’s a poor reflection on other dog owners.
So you’ve probably heard, in addition to their dogs, this week Ian posted this photo on Instagram, revealing that he and Nikki had adopted a horse together:
His name is Eagle. And he called Eagle “our big baby boy”.
So it’s that serious between them, which, I feel like that’s her thing. She met and married her ex-husband in about 5 minutes. And while she and Ian have known each other a while, having been close even when she was still with Paul McDonald and he was with Nina Dobrev, it’s still a relationship that’s accelerated quickly. What will that be like when he goes back to work on The Vampire Diaries? Is Nikki going to be on set with him?
