Let’s revisit the Gucci Ready-to-Wear collection from Fall 2018. Back in February of last year, Gucci presented their Fall 2018 collection from Alessandro Michele. The Fall 2018 collection was famous for some of its models who carried disembodied copies of their heads on the runway and were the inspiration for Jared Leto’s look Full Story

The teaser trailer for Season 5 of Black Mirror is out and it’s filled with a powerhouse cast. For starters, Miley Cyrus shows up in a fabulous purple wig, apparently playing the meta role of a famous singer and popstar. There’s also Andrew Scott, better known as James Moriarty in BBC’s Sherlock, Anthony Mackie who’s our new Captain America, Pom Klementieff who plays the name kicking, ass taking Mantis in the MCU, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Topher Grace, and many others. Full Story

Just under a month ago, I had the undeniable pleasure of seeing Lizzo live at Coachella. Yes, it was the performance where she stopped the music and whipped out her flute to back her own track after the audio cut out FOR THE SECOND TIME. Watching Lizzo perform is a religious and life-changing experience, one I recommend to everyone if they have the opportunity. Full Story

PBS Kids

When I was younger (yes Sarah, I used to be EVEN younger), my favourite show on TV was Arthur. I was obsessed, and I could (and still can) sing the entire theme song from memory. Watching Arthur was my after-school ritual because it was a great show. The premise was wholesome, the jokes were funny (even as an adult), and it covered important topics like bullying, self-image, and accepting people even if they’re different from you. Full Story

Things that aren’t controversial: Miss Vanjie should have won the makeover challenge and Nina v. Silky was probably one of the worst lip syncs in the history of Drag Race. I love Nina West too much to call for a double sashay, but if there was ever a moment this season, it was that.  Things that are mildly controversial: Nina West should have shantayed – I’m biased, but apparently so is the rest of the internet including AOC Full Story

YouTube drama is the best drama, mostly because I’m jealous that young twenty somethings get to film themselves talking at a camera and earn enough money to buy mansions. The best part? This particular gossip starts with a betrayal brand deal for (wait for it) HAIR CARE VITAMINS!!!! (I’m still waiting for Jameela Jamil to break through a wall to yell at me about the dangers of celebrity-promoted beauty and health products. Full Story

RuPaul, Aquaria (Season 10 Drag Race winner), and Violet Chachki (Season 7 winner) walked the Met Gala red carpet yesterday, an important milestone. When I wrote yesterday about the Queer History of Camp, I said, “I’m a little disappointed, although we’ll have to see for sure tonight. Full Story
