In North Vancouver, Grouse Mountain (the BCMC) – here’s Owen Wilson who was joined this weekend by his brother Andrew and Woody Harrelson getting in a workout on the weekend. He completed the hike in 56 minutes just behind Andrew and well ahead of Woody who took an hour and 20 minutes. Also with Owen: a woman purported to be his steady girlfriend, with whom he’s less mindful of being photographed. Unlike that mysterious blonde who was spotted with him a few week ago around town. And of course the randoms he has been approaching around the city. I know it’s flattering girls, but you are not alone. After all, his nickname is the Butterscotch Stallion. Maybe Owen’s just really friendly.

Owen is still in town shooting The Big Year with Steve Martin and Jack Black. I’m told Martin last week was at the Heffel auction bidding very seriously (and successfully) on two Lawren Harris paintings. The man appreciates Canadian art.
