Pam Anderson was in Florida last week to launch her perfume (?) and I remember thinking to myself at the time that she did indeed look better in the pictures – attached. For starters, her outfit is almost decent.

Now we know why. Page Six reports that Pam’s manager was insisting that photographers at the event only use “ring flash” when shooting her. It makes for a much more flattering shot without shadows and imperfections. Then her manager scrapped it out with a local photographer who resisted because the device isn’t practical. At a subsequent charity function, no access was granted unless photographers agreed to use the ring flash. So several of them skipped out instead.

In other words, Pamela Anderson’s people, in the interest of vanity, decided to make it MORE DIFFICULT for press to cover an event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Awesome. Way to go Pam.
