We were just talking about Paul Rudd during the live blog earlier. Sarah from Cinesnark dropped a reference from Party Down and now here he is, photographed on the set of My Idiot Brother, long-haired and bearded, working out a new look for a new character.
I Love You Man was so much better than The Hangover, non? And Paul Rudd has built a solid career. Paul Rudd works steadily, and these days more than Tom Cruise. Then again, his pay cheque is a lot smaller. That will even out one day, right?
Sarah also hyped up Paul's new release with Steve Carell Dinner for Schmucks. Hoping for gold. We need comedy gold this summer, especially since all we've had so far has been Twilight Eclipse. With the combination of Rudd and Carell, it almost seems too good. My expectations always run away from me.
Dinner for Schmucks opens on July 30th.
