Previously on Lopizzy, Rihanna unfollowed Jennifer Lopez on Instagram and then JLO and Drake coordinated Instagram posts, suggesting, or trying to suggest, that they’re together. Yesterday PEOPLE reported on the situation:
“Jen is looking forward with excitement to the new year. She keeps hanging out with Drake, and he has visited her house,” says a Lopez source. “She has nothing but nice things to say about Drake.”
Last week, an insider told PEOPLE the duo were just friends and were working on music together, but also spending plenty of time together.
But the Lopez source says while they “do work on music together,” the pair also “clearly enjoy each other on another level, too.”
On another level? Is that the polite way of saying they’re thrusting? So PEOPLE has a source who’s confirmed to them that JLO and Drake are doing it but they don’t want to make it seem dirty which is why we have to speak in euphemisms like “another level”? Look, if she’s getting it from someone she doesn’t have to provide transportation to and then employ later on, I’m not mad that she’s getting it. The question here isn’t whether or not she should be getting it though. The question is whether or not she’s actually getting it. Judging from your emails and tweets, many of you don’t believe Lopizzy is legit. Both JLO and Drake know how to exploit the f-ck out of every story and it benefits both to be associated with the other. For her it’s the attraction of a younger man who also happens to be a superstar. And for him, well, it’s the boast factor of rubbing up on one of the most enduringly sexy women in the business. Clearly they want us to think they’re together. According to the PEOPLE source, “Jen loves the attention and she seems very happy to be spending time with him. Drake is very charming. He treats Jen with lots of respect. She seems very smitten.”
Celebrities are so often full of sh-t, we’re now extra sensitive to the celebrity fake-out. The default approach these days is almost to NOT believe any new romances and they practically have to go full porn on us before we’ll accept it’s real. And even then, we’re skeptical about the purpose behind the porn. Because the porn can sometimes be part of the play. So, for sure, at this point, we have not yet approached adequate Lopizzy authentication. That said, if JLO + Drake is actually actual, this is good for gossip. Even great for gossip. And we need some of it. We need it so f-cking bad.
JLO went shopping yesterday in LA and then out for dinner. Drake wasn’t around.
