And that means it’s not Prince Harry. Prince Harry was my dark horse pick. Click here for a refresher. My prediction however was Chris Pratt. We’ll come back to that in a minute.
But that’s the point of a dark horse, right? It’s a longshot. It’s supposed to come out of nowhere. Harry however does not appear on late night American television. And even if they allowed him to, it couldn’t happen anyway because he’s actually in Oman today, on a three day visit before travelling to Abu Dhabi where he’ll participate in a charity polo match. Unless he does his interview via satellite? Unlikely. Highly unlikely.
Given how dependable he’s been for the family, and that he’s a popular representative for grandmother, they wouldn’t risk the gravitas he’s built over the last two years. It’s a good mix of gravitas and relatability. He can be taken seriously now, but he doesn’t take himself too seriously. There’s a time and a place for that though. And they probably don’t think there’s ever a time to be lusted over on the cover of a supermarket rag.
