Hot Harry on a Horse spent time with members of The Suffolk Foundation yesterday at the EnglandVaarders 2011 rowing exhibition from Katwijk, South Holland to the Sizewell, Suffolk. He spoke with the families of four British men recreating the journey of 32 Dutchmen who escaped Nazi-occupied Netherlands. Only 8 survived and a memorial stands at the beach there.
Look at him. He’s like, don’t you trust this face?
Actually... no.
But that’s the best part. As devoted as he is to his duties, and he does perform them responsibly and enthusiastically, Hot Harry will always carry around with him the hint, or rather smell, of naughty and mischief. And - look at this face - he will always be forgiven.
By the way, have you ever seen Harry with a temper?
That’s the royal version of a foot stomp.
But I don’t want to leave you with that taste in your mouth. How about this? It’s the sound of the poshness in “For all of us” that gets me all blushy and 13.
Harry has one more official engagement before heading back to helicopter training. He will present to the “Best Brave Child” at the WellChild Awards next Wednesday, August 31, in London. It’ll be 14 years.
