The Cambridges visited the 9/11 memorial today in New York. They lay flowers in memory of the victims. There’s been some talk about this colour choice. Pink.
Does pink have significance at the memorial? Like do you think she would have been encouraged to wear the colour? Otherwise, I mean the safest choice would have been black…right? Grey? Navy? Brown? With those colours, there’d be no discussion about it whatsoever.
Backstage at The Social, a couple of people who are major Kate fans are arguing that the memorial is a place of respect and that Kate showed her respect by wearing a formal coat, in a lovely colour, and that we should all move along.
