I have been glued to BBC. Don’t lie. I know many of you have been as well. If only we could get ITV over here. ITV has the exclusive first sit-down interview and it will air at 7pm in London, 2pm ET/11am PT. Before that though there was the photocall and they did speak briefly with reporters while posing... with Diana’s ring.

OMG.

And Kate wore blue too.

Oh by the way, my friend Danielle now refuses to call her Kate. As she just wrote:

Today is a great day for Catherine and William (I am no longer going to “common” her by calling her Kate) and a great day for modern day royal watchers who remember Diana’s wedding but more so her funeral, and finally it is a great day for brunettes. I haven’t stopped smiling all day.

If you haven’t seen the video, click here but it’s hard to hear their answers because of the crazy photography. Here’s the most important quote, the one that will make you weepy. When asked about The Ring, William explained:

"As you may recognise now, it's my mother's engagement ring. So of course it's very special to me, as Kate's so special to me now as well... It was my way of making sure my mother didn't miss out on today and the excitement and the fact we are going to be spending the rest of our lives together."

I worshipped Diana. Any mention of Diana anywhere from her sons will get me every time.

As for the proposal, Kate said:

"He (William) is a true romantic and we had a wonderful holiday in Africa and it was out there and in a very quiet lodge. It was very romantic and was very personal."

William would not divulge however whether or not he got down on one knee, though he did laugh at the question:

"I was waiting for that. That's going to stay a secret."

Am obsessed.
