US Weekly is reporting exclusively that Prince William is quitting his job flying search and rescue helicopters with the Royal Air Force. He’s expected to confirm these plans publicly in the new few weeks and by the time Baby Wales arrives, he’ll be unemployed. Obviously the royal heir has a lot to do with the decision but it may also have been motivated by the fact that the search and rescue service will soon be privatised as the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force will be outsourcing the operation to a US firm. Needless to say, they wouldn’t want the future King of England being bossed around by Americans.
US Weekly also reports that Will and his Catherine are in Anglesey together this week enjoying some time to themselves. She hasn’t been back in Wales since finding out she was pregnant. As for Will’s plans after the RAF, the Palace says he’s still deciding although the magazine’s source says he’s interested in more opportunities with the armed forces. Is William allowed to be as hardcore as Harry and serve in Afghanistan or similar? Probably not, right? If it were me I wouldn’t permit it either.
