Prince William hosted an event last night for the Royal Marsden and all kinds of celebrities were there, including Cate Blanchett, Kate Moss, Ralph Lauren and family, and Benedict Cumberbatch. At one point Kate Moss asked him about Kate Middleton. He told her she wasn’t coming and Moss’s reply was, “Such a shame”. Later on, William told Ralph Lauren that he probably wanted to see his wife more than he wanted to see him. Now British gossips are all like, he kept her at home because he didn’t want to be upstaged by her, the way his father was always bugged about being upstaged by Diana.
You think that might be why she didn’t come? You think Will kept her away from all the famous people?
Understandable, totally.
But here’s what I think. I think she doesn’t want to work when she doesn’t have to work. Does she strike you as someone who’s all that…motivated? I’m not sure she gives a f-ck about Cate and Kate. I think she’d rather be at home online shopping and being not-busy. The minimum.
