Prince William and Princess Catherine arrived in New York last night. Today he’s in Washington and here she is, this afternoon, with New York’s first lady Chirlane McCray to tour the Harlem Child Development Centre. You know how boring Kate can be? Chirlane is the exact opposite. Now this is a fascinating life. Both she and Bill de Blasio have made it very clear the influence she has within his circle, how heavily her voice is weighted, and her role as his “top advisor”. That’s definitely not how the Cambridges do things.
