There are certain words we are not allowed to say on daytime television. But what if one of those words is part of a proper name? We can say pussy willow if we’re actually referring to pussy willows. I’m not sure if we’d be allowed to say Pussy Riot when referring to the band.
Anyway, Pussy Riot was part of the Amnesty International benefit concert last night in Brooklyn. Madonna was also there. And Blondie. Apparently during the Blondie set, Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig were mouthing the words and swaying.
