This Means War opens on Valentine’s Day. Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, and Tom Hardy are now in Europe promoting the movie. Tonight was the UK premiere. Reese was green and sparkly with a new fringe. Mistake!
In the film, Reese plays the love interest for both Chris and Tom as they attempt to blow each other apart to win her undivided attention. We are supposed to believe, as Sarah noted a few months ago - click here for a refresher - that Reese Witherspoon could actually inspire that kind of devotion and desire.

Interestingly enough, last week when we were at Sundance, the ad for the movie came on the TV and Dylan, a man’s man to the core, reacted to it like this:
Who’s that? She’s hot.
Me: Reese Witherspoon.
Dylan: Whhaaaa? For real? Hook me up with that!
This surprised me. I didn’t think the “make Reese sexy” campaign was actually working. But this is why I’m not the target demo. At the end of the trailer when the paint ball gun goes off? Both Dylan and Jacek laughed. It’s like they’re trying to say, “Hey, dudes, next time she suggests going to The Vow, This Means War will work for both of you”.
I think I might have to see it to remember how hot Tom Hardy used to be. It’s been a long time, you know?
