Here’s Renee Zellweger at LAX yesterday kissing musician Doyle Bramhall II. Bramhall was in a relationship with Sheryl Crowe that ended some time in the second half of 2011. US Weekly reports that he and Renee were in university together. So, after a break during Bradley Cooper, it would appear that Renee has returned to loving musicians. Was I crazy? I really, really thought she and Jack White would make it.
As for that third Bridget Jones movie...
Helen Fielding announced recently that she’s writing a new Bridget book that will be released next Fall. She won’t say much about Darcy and Cleaver or reveal what “new phase” of Bridget’s life we’ll be meeting her at, only that Bridget is now... on Twitter. Oh God.
But what’s confusing to me is that movie 3 is apparently not based on book 3, even though Helen is involved in both. What? Does that mean that movie Bridget has babies and literary Bridget doesn’t? Click here for more from Helen Fielding on her new novel.
It reminds me -- we always talk about Love Actually as a great Christmas movie but Bridget Jones is too, right? This is what I’m watching tonight. She will always be so SO perfect to me, Renee Zellweger, in that role. Better as Bridget than she was in Cold Mountain, for real. “Because that...is his name...”
