Over or not over?

Last night in Orlando, both Rihanna and Chris Brown were courtside to watch the Lakers defeat the Magic in Game 4. Derek Fisher is so f-cking clutch.

Though they sat apart and did not appear to engage at all, curiously enough, both Us Weekly initially cited sources that reported the two were en route together. People’s source went so far as to say they even requested to sit side by side.

The two publications have been engaged in a mild pissing match this week over accuracy – needless to say, the fact that both, both usually reliable, note the same information is intriguing. And even though the two have been publicly apart for some time, separately enjoying new flirtations, it surprises no one to see that their relationship is far from over. Which only adds to the drama. Because of course Rihanna is expected to testify at Brown’s hearing on June 22nd. Only a Brange sex tape would usurp attention from that courtroom that day.

Interesting how celebrity works. How hate can fade. It’s been, what, 4 months? His trial hasn’t even started, and he’s comfortable enough to be out in the open like this at such a major event…

In Hollywood, you really can get away with almost anything. Great.
