On days when I need a quick pick-me-up, I have list of Happy Shots. Images that instantly and reliably make me laugh. Jessica Simpson’s high waisted horrors, Tom Cruise looking like he’s having a wank in Rolling Stone, Liza Minnelli and David Gest’s wedding photo, there are about a dozen of them that always do the job. Including Roberto Cavalli on his segway in the south of France. Click here if you’ve never had the pleasure. I love it so much. I also love it when Cavalli goes to the beach. In fact, any time an Italian fashion designer goes to the beach it makes for good times.

Whatever.

I’m more intrigued by the fact that his swim trunks are providing so much coverage. I have looked and looked and I cannot see any part of his ass. Not that that’s a desirable image, but usually when it comes to Cavalli, he forces it upon you without much choice. These shorts, then, for him, are straight up demure.

But I just like the way he stands. I could look at him standing all day.
