I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many variations on a thumbs-up. And all delivered so enthusiastically. There’s the double pump, a double pump with a plié, a one thumb, a side thumb, two side thumbs, and a lot of amazing cheese…

It’s never a bad day when Cavalli comes out to play. This is Roberto in Milan today with Diesel designer Renzo Rossi at a press conference to announce a partnership between his Just Cavalli and Staff International for distribution. In other words, more Cavalli everywhere.

Is Cavalli still considered luxury? I mean, I can see the price-tag, I get it that it’s technically the same category, but clothing wise, I often can’t tell the difference between Cavalli and Ed Hardy. Or Cavalli and, like, Guess by Marciano. Consider that Staff International’s current brands include Marc Jacobs, Maison Martin Margiela, Vivienne Westwood, and Viktor & Rolf, I’m not really sure that Just Cavalli belongs among them.

Then again, tacky people spend a LOT of money. Do tacky people spend more money than tasteful ones?
