Are you ready for The End? It All Ends. Soon.
I have seen The End, in 3D, and while I cannot tell you much about it yet (due to the studio’s embargo), what I can say is that I loved it, and that Laura loved it, and that I still haven’t recovered. Nerd? Totally. But yesterday Dean, who was cutting my interview with Daniel Radcliffe (the last one ever, sob!), took me to the edit suite to see how the story came together and I cried watching the clips, the old footage, when they were so little, integrated with the scenes from Harry Potter at the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Remember how small they were?
Remember little Ron’s hair?
Check the first photo in this series. Remember then?
Well, Rupert Grint and James and Oliver Phelps were in Spain yesterday to promote The End and his hair looks like it did in the beginning. How f-cking cute???
I sat in the waiting room before going in to speak with Daniel the other day and the publicist asked me how I was feeling. He’s been on several press tours with us and after all these years, it’s like you’re reunion friends – you only see each other when it’s about Harry and it becomes a special little thing. And I told him I didn’t want to go inside because as soon as I went inside and as soon as the interview was over, that would mean we’re closer to it being over. Like really, really over. When you see it on July 15, that’s it. It’s done.
If you have amnesia, do you forget the books you’ve read? Because I think that would be one benefit to losing your memory: discovering Harry all over again.
