Right? Would this movie just f-cking come out already? It’s been at every festival, it premiered at the AFI Fest in Hollywood on Saturday night. But still it won’t hit theatres until late December, in limited release (!), and with a dumbass NC17 rating. I have blue balls from wanting to see it again. So I can’t imagine how it must be if you haven’t seen it at all and love him so much.
Here’s Ryan Gosling at the AFI event looking handsome and hot and beautiful. I guess I shouldn’t complain. We have been seeing a lot of him lately. Why am I complaining?
As for that NC17 controversy, Michelle Williams was asked about it by Entertainment Weekly recently and while the decision is to be appealed this month, she hopes they don’t cut the scene that the MPAA is having issues with.
"I’m happy for it to stay just like it is. Genuinely, I am. Movies get to have long lives and it’ll be judged and rejudged in 10 or 20 or 30 years, and I’ll be curious to see how it stands. (The rating) seems like such a condemnation. It feels like such a slap on the hand, like you’ve been a bad kid or something."
I just saw Prince of Persia on the plane on the way over to London. Goddamn it was for sh-t. And violent, SO violent. A Disney movie and it was SO violent. And that was, what?, rated PG?
Look at this trailer. Aside from obvious heartbreak, what is so threatening about this trailer?
