I'll take pictures of Ryan Gosling with his dog any time over Ryan Gosling walking down the street in New York all hipstery with an obscure instrument, singing to himself on a sunny afternoon. Agree or disagree?

Here he is, flying out of LAX this weekend with his dog George or Ralph. I've heard both. You people are really great at being know-it-alls though so please do find me the interview where he himself confirms the name, send me the link, and we can all go back to yelling at each other about the Brange, ok?

So he's flying out of LAX and big George-Ralph, like most dogs, is afraid of the escalator and has to be carried. Soooo f-cking cute. I once took Marcus to a bookstore with a huge escalator. He trembled 10 feet away from it. And the whole way up in my arms. Pussy.

Anyway, not that I'm an expert on his habits, but Ryan doesn't usually move George-Ralph unless he's expecting to be away from LA for a while. Most recently it was shooting The Ides of March with George Clooney in Pittsburgh and Michigan. Crazy Stupid Love promotion will be picking up shortly, and then he's supposed to start on something with Bradley Cooper, reteaming with Blue Valentine director Derek Cianfrance. Meanwhile he was at the Drive screening at the LA Film Festival last week and that film will be released in a few months and Ides is dropping in the Fall and that one might contend during the season too. Busy Ryan. I liked the way he paced his career, non? He didn’t panic, he did his own band thing for a while, and then when he was ready, it seemed, he threw it into another gear. If that was on purpose, it was very well played.
