Sam Worthington was in Italy yesterday for the Giffoni Experience. Though not pictured, his “stylist” girlfriend Natalie Mark is there with him too and the two had some downtime before Sam went to work. Click here to see them kissing on holiday.
Now I’ve given this a lot of thought, even though I’ve not seen Avatar and don’t ever intend to. Actually, just realised, I’ve not seen any of his movies. But Sam Worthington for me... it’s never happening. Can’t find one, not one, angle that tingles my business. Business however is personal, and the fact of the matter is, Sam Worthington right now is bringing a lot of business. And everyone wants his box office business. How many other actors would leave their wives for his T:Salvation/Avatar/Titans streak?
Sam’s next release is called The Debt with Helen Mirren and Tom Wilkinson. Not bad company. Trailer is below, due to hit theatres in the fall. And while he’s no longer attached to the Reese Witherspoon action comedy This Means War (his role went to Tom Hardy), he is headlining a new thriller called Man on a Ledge about a crooked cop who threatens to jump off a building as a decoy for a diamond heist. I love heist movies. Maybe that’ll be my first Worthington. Man on a Ledge is supposed to shoot in the winter and then he’ll go straight into the Clash of the Titans sequel. He’s popular.
