E! is reporting that Samantha Ronson has been telling friends she plans to write a book. Sam supposedly claims it’s about herself but most people are convinced it’ll really focus on Lindsay Lohan.

Never one to hold back, Lilo’s opportunistic ex-con of a father, even though he’s yet to verify the story by talking to either Sam or Lilo about it, went to the press with his comments:

Michael Lohan says he heard about the book deal and doesn’t approve:
"I've shut up about this long enough. She's using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she's writing a book? I am at wit's end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay's best interest. Let's just say I hope Lindsay starts opening her eyes and realizes who the people using her are.”

But that would include mommy and daddy, non?

I am blinded by their love, perhaps not the most objective perspective but writing a tell-all really doesn’t seem like Sam’s style.

Consider her upbringing. She grew up among the New York elite where betrayed wives forgive cheating husbands, where nothing could be more important than keeping your composure, where people don’t tell all…they simply save it and use it as revenge for next time.

An exposé? It’s totally Long Island but is it really Manhattan? Call me Cruise, I don't believe.
