Sandra Bullock spoke at the 2011 amfAR Inspiration Gala last night at Chateau Marmont to honour the late Elizabeth Taylor:

"Earlier this year, the world lost a radiant woman of courage and compassion. She lives on in every person she touched. She never thought twice to put her arm around someone who was suffering, and that is the gift we have a human beings, the ability to reach out and touch another human being. Tonight we can honour this extraordinary woman and finish what she started."

During the auction, Sandy’s agents Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd bid $14,000 for Andy Warhol’s Peaches print to gift to her son Louis Bardo. She thanked them on stage:

"I want to thank Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd for not being cheap f-cks and gifting my son with his first Warhol.”

Well...not really. She makes them a LOT of money. $14,000 is nothing to them. But you will note, Huvane and Lourd, those are the top two dudes at CAA. And she gets both of them. Not sure people appreciate what a power player Sandy is, one of the few who’s never in the bend-over position to anyone. This is why her agents trip over themselves to please her.

You know I love Sandy, but I don’t love her look here. I’m down with the metal mixing but I’m not feeling the length of that jacket or her makeup - the overall effect is that she couldn’t make up her mind: do you want subtle or do you want to pop? Because these elements individually, they seem to be fighting each other. Also I wish the tabloids would stop reporting that Ryan Reynolds left her to be with Blake Lively. I promise you, Sandy and Ryan were never together.
