From one Vancouver girl to another....I hear ya. So first up, let's go with your basic no mess around rain boot and these (1) Tretorn’s will be your puddle jumpers for life. Now I know at first glance they look pretty plain, but if you look closer you’ll see the cool detailing on the sole as well as the bright color pop on the zipper.
When it comes to rain boots Hunter is Hollywood's brand of choice. Usually they range closer to the two bill mark, but I just found a pair on sale that are right on budget. Check it out here (2).
Personally, my favorite brand of rubbers is from French footwear, Aigle. Hands down the best! So when I found these knee highs on sale I almost shat myself. L, you need these (3).
