As a half Asian person seeking comfort in my clothes is in my genetics.  (Lainey: we live in pyjamas.) There’s an innate yearning for everything I wear to be ultra-soft and ultra-cozy.  Let me put it this way - instead of from day to night clothing, I look for day to goodnight.  So the fact that fashion just told me that I can throw on a flashy necklace over a sweatshirt and get away with it (!!!)….made my life.  Before I wake up from this dream, let me introduce you to some of my favorite styles right now.

It’s Holt Renfrew’s 175th birthday and as a gift to all of us they have 6 sweatshirts that are beyond cool.  My favorite is this GIRLS design, not only because it lets people know my gender, but I also love the TV show, so you know, it kills two birds….

This Kenzo sweatshirt has been making the street style rounds at all the fashion weeks because well, just look at it – it’s the sh-t.  I’m sitting here trying to figure out a way to justify this purchase….can I buy it just because I love it?

Fine, that last one might be a tad expensive, so it’s time to turn to Zara.  They’ve got two budget friendly options that will up your style quotient in a flash.  Click here  and here.

Now, the key is to find a sweatshirt with some interest in its design and this Margiela fits that bill.
Another great way to add some style intrigue is with some snappy hardware accents – for that click here and here.

I don’t know what else to say about this Paul & Alice sweatshirt other than to say:  Someone. Buy. It. STAT.

Finally, don’t be afraid to play it up with different prints and graphics, and right now fruit designs are popping up everywhere, so to get up on the trend quick click here and here.
