WHY: The closest thing I own to sexy lingerie is some ripped underwear. I don't know, I guess it's just never been my thing to twister my way into some crotch-less nipple clamping outfit. Now, that's not to say I don't appreciate all the beautiful barely there lines on the market - I do! - I just personally haven't found anything that's worth dropping trou over.
But cut to Fortnight.....
One quick scan of the line and you'll notice the collection is detailed, delicate and purely based on perfecting fit. Pale pink, bold black and cool coral are just a few of the colors that litter this lux line for spring. As for a style standout? I have to say the prize goes to the Lyra bandeau and knickers (picture below). It's bold, pretty and has a sense of empowerment in its design, and best of all that bustier can spend a little time outside of the boudoir. Let it peek out from a sheer shirt or if you’ve got some balls throw a blazer on top, pair it with a high waisted pant and you’ll have yourself one hell of a look.
