WHY: I’m going on a major underwear revamp soon which means I’m tossing out all my gross raggedy Sunday and Period undies. Oh, eat sh-t, don’t pretend like you don’t have them too.
My first restock purchase will definitely be from THINX. What I love about each style is the attention to detail – good ass support, pretty lace detailing and the designers have really turned up the tech by using a material that is anti-microbial, stain-resistant and leak proof. But what makes this underwear even more powerful is what happens after you buy a pair.
With each purchase made 7 reusable washable cloth pads are given to given to African girls going to school. Did you know that more than 67 million girls miss a week of school every month because it’s their “week of shame”. WEEK OF SHAME!!!!! They simply don’t have the resources to take care of their business down there, so now that you know this unfortunate reality I hope that you’ll help another fellow female out.
