Hi Sasha, Can you recommend a good mascara? I've tried everything from Maybelline to Mac, $10 - $50, and I haven't found anything better than this Maybelline "define-a-lash". Thanks T

Mascara is always my answer when someone asks that dumb “what’s the one thing you can’t live without?” question.  But maybe I’m the dumb one if that’s my answer?!  Anyway T, the point is mascara is an incredibly important part of the beauty game, so here are my top 5 picks:

#1 Hands down my absolute favorite is the Hypnose line by Lancôme. I've tried the Waterproof, Doll and Drama, and I'm telling you, your lashes will be full and feathered.  It’s not crack rock cheap, but if you can squeeze out the extra dough it’s worth it.

#2 I know you've tried MAC before, but I'm going to bet you haven't tried their new - wait for it, it’s a long one - False Lashes Mascara Volume Et Courbure.  I cracked open a new bottle this week and I'm a believer.  It pumps your eyes up and out and in just a couple of strokes my drag queen dreams were fulfilled.

#3 DiorShow is always touted as one of the best within makeup artist circles. If you’re looking for a volume boost this is definitely worth a whirl.  Another backstage staple is NARS Larger than Life Volumizing mascara - I've never used it but it gets mega praise.

#4 I have a whole lot of lash love for L’Oreal Original Voluminous.  It's the OG of mascaras for me - I used this all throughout my 20s.  It gives the perfect flutter effect and at the same time builds boldness.

#5 The latest lash blaster that has caught my eye is Revlon’s PhotoReady 3D Volume. The wand is what really does wonders.  Not only does each bristle separate and coat, but it also has a rounded tip so that you can get at your bottom and outer lashes without causing a big sh-t smear under your eye.

Hope this helps and let me know which one is the winner.
