Twins are one of (two of?) the most intriguing human occurrences, non? That’s pretty much why I was so into Sweet Valley High as a kid. The Wakefield sisters! My twin interest was waning though until this summer when I read I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson, my favourite book of the year. Jude and Noah are twins. They’re both artists. They express themselves individually but with a connection. It makes sense when you read the story – the beautiful fragility of the twin bond played out in the most exquisite writing.
I could totally see young Scarjo and Hunterjo in these roles. Read it!!!
