It was announced a while back that Scarlett Johansson made Barbara Walters’s list of 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014. I’ve attached a few photos from the interview. And it’s expected, because it’s Barbara, that she’ll go there. She’ll ask about the baby. She’ll ask about the relationship. Maria posted yesterday that Scarlett and Romain Dauriac were secretly married. Page Six was the first to report it. PEOPLE then confirmed that it happened October 1 in Montana. That’s two months she was able to lock it down.
And Scarlett is FAMOUS. Very, very famous. So, again, don’t say it can’t be done. When it’s not done, it’s usually not done for a reason that has nothing to do with paps and tabloids.
But back to Scarjo and Barbara. Scarlett so far hasn’t traded on motherhood. And she hasn’t had to. She doesn’t have to. Few actors have her career. Scarlett is an Avenger. Scarlett is an indie film ass kicker. Scarlett is producing limited run series for television. Scarlett does Broadway. Scarlett is in demand. So I’m curious to see how Scarlett handles Barbara’s questions. Because being a mother is likely why Barbara put her on the fascinating list. But being a mother is probably the least fascinating thing about her.
Scarlett was at the Gotham Awards last night with her husband. The more I see her hair, the more I love it. And the eye makeup is perfect.
