At the GM Style Show on Saturday. What is it about Jay Z? Definitely not empirically good looking….probably far from, in fact. And yet…there’s something, you know? It’s the way he looks in his clothes, I think. Jay Z has great clothes, better clothes perhaps than Puffy Diddy Daddy. And an air of something rather distinguished. Still street…but sophisticated too. Sophisticated enough for Royal Albert Hall without being disingenuous or, on the flipside, extra obnoxious – see Kanye West – and that rare quality I call Braggadocio Quiveration. A supersized ego, to be sure. But one that, strangely enough, is actually quite a turn-on. Or maybe it’s just me? Maybe he’s just an ugly motherf&cker…period? Source
