Last week I told you about Gus, aka my god-dog-son, who is currently in the running to become the cover star on Yellow Dog beer can in a fun contest that raises money for the British Columbia SPCA. Gus thanks all of you who have voted and supported him and the SPCA with your donation! The contest closes in two days and Gus is so close – he’s in second place! Unlike some of the other good boys and girls who are also trying to be beer can stars, Gus’s parents are old-fashioned and won’t let him on social media. So he has no followers he can make his case to.
That’s why I’m making his case, because Gus will represent your vote to the best of his abilities. Check him out here, with Jacek, aka his personal photographer. From the moment he came home, Gus knew innately had to give baby sweet eyes…
But he can also give protector vibes. Here he is, proudly guarding his precious companion.
And, of course, Gus has expectations. When a good boy has done a good job, he thinks he deserves the meat and potatoes.
We also love a good boy who cares about hygiene. And still throws down a cover boy pose when he’s in the bath!
Even when he sleeps, LOOOOLLL. Seriously, why is he sleeping like he’s protecting his hairstyle?
Because, obviously, he’s committed to a good shot!
