At the GQ Men of the Year event last night – the new Hollywood power players Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, and Paul Rudd standing up for unconventional looking men making power play moves in showbiz…do you love it, or do you LOVE it?
And do they hate Heigl? Remember, she labeled Knocked Up as misogynistic, right? The same movie that made her a $6 million star? The same movie that has landed her on Barbara Walters’ list of Most Fascinating?
Just to clarify: it’s not her sentiments I’m disputing – a very good friend of mine, Duana, expressed the same opinion shortly after she saw the film – but the hypocrisy of voicing such a sentiment and still agreeing to shoot the movie. If you feel the project projects women unfavourably, what does it say about you that you took the job anyway???
Doesn’t that make you WORSE than the misogynists? That you can be bought? That you have a price?
Bitch… please!
But I digress…
We are here to laud Apatow and Rogen (yes, Canada) and Paul Rudd (always) and Jonah Hill who, face it, isn’t attractive in a Beckham way, but delivers a f*ck-p*ssy-c*ck line as well as anyone in the business. You HAVE to watch the DVD extras in Superbad. Sh*t will be lost… promise.
